Dramatic and Ghostly Camera Settings
Hey EveryNikki! It’s Nikki Cupcake here, and I wanted to share a few settings I used to put together some dramatic ghostly and gothic feeling portraits!
First thing’s first. Head over to the Swordsmith Ruins Gate in The Wishing Woods. If you don’t have it unlocked yet, the Swordsmith Ruins main quest can be unlocked after completing the Save Giroda quest. The photographs I’ve taken here are just inside the door as soon as you enter the Swordsmith Ruins Gate.
For the ghostly blue and white style photographs, use the "Ghostly" series of settings. I’ve included the aperture setting for the blurred background shot, if you do not want your depth to be blurred, just leave aperture empty at 0.
For the more natural gothic look use the second "Dramatic" series of settings. The aperture setting is needed to get the blurred background, if you do not want that look, just set your aperture empty at 0.
Don’t worry about your focal length, just play around with angles and focal length until you get it feeling how you like! For super UP CLOSE tight portrait shots, zoom in by scrolling in with your mouse until you are as close as you can get and then slide your focal length up if you’re looking for that super zoomed-in shot.
I hope this inspires you to play with some photography today! Have fun, and stay gongeous!
P.S Of course quality of photos will vary depending on your graphics card and settings. I always have Ultra-everything-and-ray-tracing. <3
